Trains cancelled, diverted due to breaches
Vijayawada, Sep 12 (UNI) Train services in the Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of the South Central Railway (SCR) has been partially cancelled or diverted due to breaches.
SCR Senior Divisional Commercial Manager B Vijayabhaskar, in a release here today, said while some trains in this sector were cancelled or some were diverted upto September 30.
The trains cancelled were up and down Howrah-Vasco-de-gama, Yaswanthpur-Muzafarnagar, Patna-Ernakulam, Guwahati-Chennai Egmore and Chennai Egmore-Dibrugarh Town.
The trains diverted were Howrah-Secunderabad-Howrah and Howrah-Yaswanthpur-Howrah.
He said SCR would run special trains in the Vijayawada-Hubli-Vijayawada sector to clear extra rush of passengers.
Vijayawada-Hubli would leave Vijayawada at 1855 hrs on September 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28 and 30, and arrive Hubli at 1000 hrs on the next day.
In its return direction, Hubli-Vijayawada would leave Hubli at 1215 hrs on September 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28 and 30, and arrive Vijayawada at 0230 hrs on the next day.
