HC quashes recruitment process of limited exam conducted by BPSC
Patna, Sep 12 (UNI) Patna High Court today quashed entire recruitment process of limited examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) in 2003 to fillup the vacancies by the class three government staff of various posts in state administrative services.
A single bench of Justice S K Kartiar passed the order while hearing the petition alleging that largescale irregularities were committed in recruitment process for appointment against vacant posts in Bihar Administrative Services.
The petitioner had alleged that large scale irregularities were committed in the recruitment process in connivance with the officials of the BPSC After hearing the arguments of petitioner and other parties concerned, the court quashed the recruitment process and ordered the state government to send fresh requisition to BPSC for initiating the recruitment process afresh for appointment of officers of Bihar Administrative Service.
Earlier, altogether 29 people, including some candidates and officers of BPSC, were arrested by the state vigilance bureau which was investigating the case.
The result of the limited examination conducted by the BPSC was published in 2005.
