BBNDA extends date for suggestins for Draft Develoment Plan
Shimla, Sep 12 (UNI) Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Development Authorty (BBNDA) has extended the last date for inviting suggestions and objections from the people on the Draft Development Plan of the area upto September 30.
An official spokesman said that BBNDA has prepared a Draft Development Plan upto the year 2035 for undertaking planned development of the area, which cover 229 revenue villages besides two urban towns of Nalagarh and Baddi-Barotiwala in an area of 31,874 hectares.
He said that draft development plan of BBNDA was approved in principle by the Cabinet recently on the condition that Chief Executive Officer of BBNDA would invite suggestions and objections from the people, which would be considered on merit for incorporating necessary amendments for final approval.
The spokesman further said that the BBNDA also launched awareness campaigns upto panchayat level to clear doubts of the people regarding the development plan, which aimed at development without causing inconvenience to the local people.
He further said that there would be no affect on Nagar Panchayat Baddi, Municipal Council and other PRIs falling under the BBNDA, which would continue to function as earlier.
