Arrangements for Srivary Brahmotsavams on
Tirumala, Sep 12 (UNI) All necessary arrangements were in progress in connection with the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams, to be held from October one, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman D K Audikesavulu Naidu said today.
Addressing mediapersons at Annamaiah Bhavan here, he said security arrangements for the Brahmotsavams were made with the co-operation of District Superintendent of Police as well as TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer.
Engineering works were nearing completion and arrangements for providing food, water, sanitation facilities for all the devotees were being made.
Scouts, guides and nearly 2000 Srivari Sevaks were going to help the devotees, he added.
On November two, the fourth phase of Kalyanamasthu programme would be conducted in all the constituencies of Andhra Pradesh . The TTD staff would leave for the venues on September 18 to oversee the arrangements, he said.
On November 10, Mangala Kaisika Dwadasi Utsavam would also be conducted in the state at five mandals in each district.
Earlier, he along with TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary performed pujas and released the wall posters of Srivari Brahmotsavams as well as programme booklets in front of Srivari Temple.
