Twenty talukas in Gujarat receive moderate rainfall
Ahmedabad, Sept 11 (UNI) Twenty Talukas of Gujarat experienced moderate rainfall with Nandod in Narmada district receiving maximum rain of 35 mm, during the last 24 hours.
Indian Metereological Departement, Director, Dr Kamaljit Ray told UNI that the state will receive more rain, accompanied by lightning, in the next couple of days.
Providing relief to the people from heat wave conditions, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar also received mild showers this afternoon.
Parts of Saurashtra as Veraval, Rajkot, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Vadodara and other parts of central Gujarat also received mild showers.
