Dubai, Sep 11 (UNI) Yuvraj Singh might have made it look easy as the left-hander disclosed that once he had hit four sixes off Stuart Broad in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa last year, he was sure of making it six in a row but the Indian still had butterflies in his stomach before his willow smashed the last ball over the ropes as well.

''Definitely, after the fifth one, I had butterflies in my stomach and I was thinking that if I can hit this one it can be an amazing feeling,'' Yuvraj told mediapersons after he won ICC Twenty20 Performance of the Year here last night.

''So, I just backed myself and it was a great feeling after hitting the sixth one,'' he added.

Yuvraj said as he hit the fourth six, he became confident to hit the two as well.

''The fourth was a difficult shot to hit over the rope and when I hit that, I was pretty confident that I would hit the next two,'' he said.

An elated Yuvraj said the award meant a lot to him but being nominated for the award was equally important.

''For me it was more important to be nominated than winning the award because we all have special performances in any tournament but then you can see Chris Gayle also had a very good performance,'' he said.

''I have been hit for five sixes, it's not a good feeling.

So, if you can have a good day, you can have a bad day,'' he added.

The Indian ODI team's vice captain, however, declined to say anything about his exclusion from the Rest of India squad for the Irani Trophy.

''I don't want to comment on that. I am happy to receive this award today. Last year was a great year for me and this year I haven't done that well. So, I am always looking to be better at my game and hope to finish this year on a high,'' he said.
