Sixth pay commsission in progress, MP CM
Shajapur, Sep 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh government was working out the implication of implementing the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission and for the time being 20 per cent interim relief would be given to the employees, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.
Talking to the mediaperons here today, Mr Chouhan, who reached here today under the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, said an action plan of Livelihood Mission has been drafted to uplift 40 lakh Below Poverty Line families in the state.
''A legislation to combat terrorism was sent to the Centre, after passing from the state Assembly, was deliberately not approved,'' he alleged.
He claimed that efforts were being made to bust the Students of Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) network.
''Bharatiya Janata Party will contest Assembly elections on the development issue,'' he added.
