Number of Domestic air passengers decline

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) The total passengers carried by domestic airlines in August were 2.922 million, compared to 3.085 million in July, a official data said today.

The break-up of passengers carried by the Airlines in August: Air India (Domestic) 520,000, Jet Airways 700,000, Jet Lite 269,000, Deccan 295,000, Kingfisher 429,000, IndiGo 298,000, Spice Jet 247,000, GoAir 79,000,, Paramount 48,000, MDLR, 6,000.

The percentage share of the carriers: Air India (Domestic) 18.0 per cent, Jet Airways 24.2 per cent, Jet Lite 9.3 per cent, Air Deccan 10.2 per cent, Kingfisher 14.8 per cent, Spice Jet 8.5 per cent, Paramount 1.7 per cent, Go Air 2.7 per cent, IndiGo 10.3 per cent and MDLR- 0.21 per cent.
