SC condemns behaviour of lawyers of Ansal brothers
New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) The Supreme Court today strongly condemned the behaviour of the lawyers appearing for the Ansal brothers in the courts and police personnel who openly threatened and abused a woman pursuing the Uphaar fire tragedy case.
A bench comprising Justices B N Agarwal and G S Singhvi said ''The vulgar language used by the lawyers and the security personnel against the woman shows falling values of life and one of the lawyers happened to be president of the bar association. This is the attitude of those belonging to in noble profession.'' The observations were made by the two judges during the hearing of a petition seeking to set aside the order of Delhi High Court granting bail to Sushil Ansal, Gopal Ansal and their two managers Nirmal Singh Chopra and Ajit Chaudhary.
