MNS activists pelt stones at Juhu PVR theatre
Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Continuing their protests against the Bachchan family even after Jaya Bachchan apologised for speaking in Hindi at a function on September 6, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists pelted stones at the PVR theatre in Juhu in north-west Mumbai, where the premiere of Amitabh Bachchan's latest movie ''The Last Lear'' was scheduled for tonight.
According to sources, a group of six activists threw stones this afternoon at the theatre, damaging the window panes. However, no one was injured.
The protestors also raised slogans against the Bachchan family.
The Juhu police station has registered an offence against the protestors, but no arrests have been made.
During the last two days, MNS activists defaced film posters and advertisements featuring Amitabh and his son Abhishek all over the state and burnt effigies of Jaya.
