Chennai, Sep 10 (UNI) AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa, who was unanimously reelected General Secretary of the party for a sixth time, today declared that she would kickstart her party's poll campaign for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls from Andippati, her home constituency, on September 15, the eve of Anna's Centenary.

Talking to newspersons after her re-election at the party headquarters here, she said she would be touring all over Tamil Nadu beginning with Andipatti.

''You can take it that way,'' she said, when asked whether the public meeting at Andipatti in Theni district on September 14 to launch welfare schemes for AIADMK youth brigades could be seen as the commencement of her campaign for the Lok Sabha polls.

''I will be touring all over Tamil Nadu and one has to begin somewhere. Andipatti will be the first ,'' she said, adding a bigger role was awaiting the AIADMK both at the national and state level.

Asked whether there was any development after her remarks that the AIADMK was open to alliance with the Left parties and the PMK, Ms Jayalalithaa said the media would be kept informed as and when development takes place.

''Nothing can be kept as a secret from the media today,'' she quipped.

To a question whether the AIADMK as the main Opposition party would move a no confidence motion against the DMK Government if the PMK withdraws support and the Left parties also threatening to snap ties with the DMK, she said there may not be any need for that.

''The people have already lost confidence with the DMK and the government is on its last legs,'' Ms Jayalalithaa said.

Asked whether AIADMK would change its stand on the Indo-US Nuke deal in the wake of NSG waiver, she said the party would continue to oppose the deal as it had been doing right from the beginning.

The NSG waiver was nothing but a clear sell out on the part of the Congress-led UPA Government and it was also clear that there could be no more nuclear tests.

''This means India has barted away its sovereign rights,'' she added.
