HM militants shot dead civilian in Doda

Jammu, Sep 10: Two unidentified militants of Hizb-ul-Mujaheedin (HM) gunned down a civilian at his house in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here today.

''Two unidentified militants barged into the house of one Mohd Iqbal (30) late last night in village Dedni Khabaran in Goha area and took him to the nearby field and killed him,'' police sources told the sources.

The ultras, however, escaped while police parties reached to the spot after receiving information.

The police handed over the body to his family members and investigations were in progress.
