Bangalore, Sep 10 (UNI) The entrance test for the first 'Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)' examination will he held world wide on December 13.
The final date to register for the CGEIT examination is September 24 and candidates could register at www.isaca.org/cgeit.
Serving more than 86,000 IT governance, security and assurance professionals, the CGEIT certification programme, offered by ISACA, a non-profit association, recognises those who have professional knowledge, personnel skills and business experience to maximise IT's contribution to an enterprise's success, and manage and mitigate risks related to IT.
The certification helps to support the growing business demands related to IT governance, increase the awareness and importance of good practices and issues and define the roles and responsibilities of professionals performing IT governance work.
The certification process was specifically developed for professionals, who have management, advisory or assurance role relating to the governance of IT, an ISACA release said here.
