Courtney Love defends Russell Brand's raunchy remarks at VMAs
Washington, Sept 10 : Rocker Courtney Love has defended her pal Russell Brand - after the British comedian was slammed for his remarks at the recent MTV Video Music Awards.
Brand, who hosted the ceremony, was criticized for mocking The Jonas Brothers' sexual morals and ridiculing the trio's decision not to have sex before marriage.
The comedian was later forced to apologise for his comments.
However, Love insists that Brand was the perfect choice to host the awards - calling him her 'darkling prince'.
"He looked very not nervous (sic). I love Russell. Viva you motherf***ker. I love you an (sic) damn proud of you baby," Contactmusic quoted Love, as stating on her MySpace Internet page.
