Hyderabad, Sep 10 (UNI) The services of deserving daily paid employees working as contract staff in the ITDAs, Ashram Schools, Tribal Hostels and Tribal Welfare Engineering Department are to be regularised.
Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who today reviewed issues relating to these employees, agreed in-principle to regularise the services of the deserving candidates immediately after deciding the cadre strength in each of the ITDAs, Tribal Hostels, Ashram Schools and Engineering Department, an official release said.
Deserving candidates would be immediately regularised on par with other State Government employees. The remaining might be given a salary hike.
He asked the Finance Department to sympathetically consider the demands of the Tribal Welfare Department and decide the cadre strength depending on the present work load.
Dr Reddy was told the ITDAs had now been allotted Rs 894 crore with the work load increasing manifold.
However there were certain precedences as far as regularisation of employees was concerned.
