Zardari moves into presidential palace
Islamabad, September 9, 2008 : Pakistan's president-elect, Asif Ali Zardari, who is due to be sworn in on Tuesday, moved into the sprawling Presidential Palace in Islamabad on Monday.
The widower of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto easily won a presidential election by legislators on Saturday, securing 481 of 702 Electoral College votes to cement his hold on power. He arrived at the Presidency, also known as "The House on the Hill" with his two daughters, Bakhtawar and Asifa.
