TEA pleas govt to avoid dual pricing
Tirupur, Sep 9 (UNI) Tirupur Exporters Associations (TEA) today urged the Union Petroleum Ministry to avoid dual pricing for diesel.
In a letter to the ministry, copy of which was released to the press here, the Association urged the Union Petroleum Ministry not to consider a proposal made by state-owned oil marketing companies to charge a higher price for diesel used for Industrial purposes.
TEA President A Sakthivel said he had also sent a representation to Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi, requesting to take up the matter with Central government to avoid the dual pricing for diesel used for industrial purposes and urge exemption to exporting units.
