Taiwan business show in Chennai from Sep 11

Chennai, Sep 9 (UNI) More than 80 leading Taiwan suppliers would showcase their products at the three-day "Taitronics India," a business-to-business show to be held at the Chennai Trade Centre here from September 11.

Giving details of the show, Mr Mosese M S Yen, Executive Director, Exhibition Department, said the show was being organised by the Taipei World Trade Centre Company (TWTC) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA) in partner with Tamil Nadu Government and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

He said Electronic Components, Electric Appliances and Machinery, Consumer Electronics, Assorted Products and Auto parts would be exhibited in the show.

Mr Yen said the show, which ran in conjuction with the ICT forum "Connect 2008" was expected to chalk up record visitor attendance from both home and abroad.

A full line-up of awarded Taiwan Excellence products like GleeCube, ITPV Multimedia Box by Gigabyte, wide screen TFT LCD panel by Chimei, self innovated WP-S1100 wireless projector server by Edimax technology would be showcased in the fair.

"This is the second year for Taitronics India and it is building upon the stunning success from the previous year by enhancing expanding the eight zones that di so much to enhance Taiwan's profile for Indians," he said.
