Research Trends on Spices and Aromatic Plants
Chandigarh, Sep 9 (UNI) Over 100 agricultural experts from across the country will participate in a three-day national seminar on 'Present Research Trends on Spices and Aromatic Plants' to be held at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar from September ten.
The seminar would be organised by the Department of Vegetable Sciences and Medicinal, Aromatic and Under-utilised Plants section of the University.
Stating this here today, a University spokesman said that Vice Chancellor J C Katyal would be the Chief Guest at the inaugural function of the seminar while the Project Convener of All India Coordinated Research Project on Spices (AICRPS), Dr Anandraj would preside over the function.
Dr Mathura Rai, Director, National Vegetable Research Institute, would also address the seminar.
Various experts would present their research papers on spices and aromatic plants crops in the seminar. Farmers would also participate in the seminar on September 12 which would be presided over by the Director Horticulture Satyavir Singh.
He said the experts participating in the seminar would visit the fields of some of the farmers of Hisar district.
