HC reserves order in Chahal case
Chandigarh, Sep 9 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court today reserved the order on the plea of the Punjab government seeking cancellation of the orders whereby the court had directed to give three working days clear notice to B I S Chahal, ex media advisor to the former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
The order was passed by Justice S D Anand while hearing the plea of the Punjab Government.
It had been argued by the counsel for the Punjab government that the order amounted to be a blanket bail which no accused could be given in a case which had not even been registered. The order was also seen against the law laid down by the Apex Court as also the high courts.
