Chandigarh, Sep 9 (UNI) The Haryana Government has decided to fill up 5,943 posts of various ranks in the Health Department to improve the functioning of the department.
Haryana Health Minister Kartar Devi said that out of these total posts, 2,306 posts would be filled up by restoring them as these were abolished by the previous Government while restructuring the department.
She said that it has been decided to fill up 637 additional posts, which included 359 posts of Medical Officers, six posts of Senior Dental Surgeons, 30 of Dental Surgeons, 60 Pharmacists, 66 Radiographers, 51 ECG Technicians and 65 Senior Medical Officers.
Apart from this, 3,000 posts of Nurses would also be filled up in a phased manner.
The Health Minister said that the government would also reorganise the Health Department as per the requirements of the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
