Mumbai, Sep 9 (UNI) The Maharashtra government will render all assistance to a Gulf finance house, which is developing IT&telecom, entertainment and energy hub at Panvel in Raigad district with an investment of Rs 46,000 crore, chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said today.
He was speaking at a meeting held here to review the projects.
The memorandum of understanding was signed between State government and the finance house in 2006 and 2007.
An industrial and financial centre with world class infrastructure will come up at the site, he said.
So far, an investment of Rs 600 crore has been made on the project and 1,300 acre land has been acquired, while 187 acre is yet to be acquired, Deshmukh added.
