Currency futures trading to be extended beyond dollar: Narain

New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) National Stock Exchange CEO Ravi Narain today said trading in currency futures may be extended to three or more currencies soon, apart from the dollar.

''Once we have the approval from the regulators, we will look at trading in currency futures to another three or four currencies, Mr Narain told reporters here.

These include the Euro, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan and Pound Sterling, he said.

Trading in currency futures began recently and is confined to the US dollar. The extension of trading in other currency futures will require the approval of the regulators involved.
