ACP Rajbir murder case: CBI frames charges
Ambala, Sep 9 (UNI) A CBI court here today framed charges in the ACP, Delhi Rajbir murder case.
After hearing the arguments of CBI Public Prosecutor H R S Verma and defence counsel Anil Kaushik, special CBI Judge A K Verma framed charges against the accused, Vijay Bhardwaj.
The defence counsel pleaded that the accused was innocent and the deceased ACP had killed himself with his own service revolver.
However, Mr Verma argued that Vijay after shooting the ACP had telephoned the Police and others about the incident.
Earlier, the case was handed over to the CBI and was transferred to Ambala from Gurgaon on June 16 for trial.
The next date for hearing has been fixed for November 11.
