Shimla, Sep 9 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal would flagged off the 4th Mountain Biking Event on September 27 at Peterhoff Shimla on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
As many as 82 international and national cyclists, including six women, would participate in the 9-day Mountain Biking Event which will culminate at Manali on October 6, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Secretary Manisha Nanda said while presiding over a meeting here today to review the arrangements regarding the event.
The event is being organised by Himalayan Adventure Sports and Tourism Promotion Association Shimla (HASTPA) in association with the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department.
About 680 kms remote area would be covered during the 9 days event. The bikers will cover Karali, Reyoghatti Bahali, Dofda, Nirmand, Kullu-Sarahan, Nither, An, Bagsaad, Pandoh, Bijli Mahadev, Naggar and will reach at Manali on October 6.
