Kannada monthly pays tribute to Sharda Prasad
New Delhi, Sept 8 (UNI) Several Kannada writers, artists, professors and academics today paid rich tributes to renowned writer and columnist Sharda Prasad who was advisor to three Prime Ministers.
In a condolence meeting, organised by 'Dehali Kannadiga' - a Kannada monthly published from Delhi, editor M B Samaga said Mr Prasad's contribution to the nation as advisor to Indira Gandhi, Morarji Desai and Rajiv Gandhi was unparallel.
Through his columns in 'The Asian Age' he would spur debates on issues of national importance and social causes, he said.
A recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Indira Gandhi Award for National Integration, Mr Sharda Prasad also received the Best Delhi Kannadiga Award at the 17th National Kannadiga Sammelan, Mr Samaga added.
