New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Ace golfer Gagan Verma, who will lead India's fortune in the upcoming Eisenhower Trophy in Australia, climbed to the top position in the latest list of the LG Indian Amateur Golf Tour Order of Merit.
Gagan's second place finish in the LG Northern India Amateur held at the Delhi Golf Club last month put him 22.5 points ahead of the second placed Saurabh Bahuguna, who incidentally will partner Gagan in the international event.
Young sensation Rashid Khan, the eventual winner of the LG Northern India Open Amateur who is the third member of the Indian team, rose up the charts to park himself at 15th place, six better than his previous standing.
However, Abhishek Jha slipped down two spots to find himself at third place. Vikram Rana and H S Kang were fourth and fifth respectively.
