Charge framed against Shahabuddin for violation Wildlife Act

Siwan, Sep 8 (UNI) A local court today framed charge against incarcerated RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin in connection with recovery of deer from his residence at Pratappur village under Hussainganj police station in Siwan district on April 24, 2005.

Special judge V V Gupta framed the charge against the RJD MP for his alleged violation of various Sections of Wildife Act-1972.

Earlier, during a raid carried out by the district police at the residence of Mohd Shahabuddin, a deer and skin of the dead deer were recovered, attracting the charge of violation of various Sections of Wildlife Act.

Mohd Shahabuddin was presently serving life imprisonment at Siwan jail in connection with kidnapping and subsequent killing of a CPI(ML) leader.
