Metros girls vs small town boys in new reality show

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) After staging an enthralling contest between kids, the song and dance reality show wagonwheel has now taken an interesting turn wherein girls from metros will engage in an engrossing song and dance competition with boys from the non metros/small towns.

Giving yet another dimension to the song and dance reality show format on television, after 'Jhoom India' on Sahara, 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' on Sony and 'Giny and Jony Chak De Bachche' on 9x, is 'Sheher Di Kudiyan Gali De Gunde', a new reality show on 9X channel which will see six ''metro-bred'' girls pitted against six ''sons of the soil'' hailing from the small towns.

Produced by Gajendra Singh, the pioneer of music reality shows on Indian television, 'Chak De Sheher Di Kudiyan Gali De Gunde' began airing on 9X channel last night.

Touted as the second series of the successful 'Gini and Jony Chak De Bachche', 'Chak De Sheher Di Kudiyan Te Galli De Gunde', to be aired every Friday and Saturday at 2100 hrs , will have Manoj Tiwari and Roshni Chopra as its anchors.

Manoj is Bhojpuri films superstar and Roshni is a beautiful, glamorous and versatile actress, who brought the house down with their engaging rivalry in 'Giny N Johny Chak De Bachche'.

While Roshni Chopra will inspire the girls of the metros, Manoj Tiwari will champion the cause of the boys from the non-metros.

Also returning as celebrity judges on the show, after 'Giny and Johny Chak De Bachche', ravishing Raveena Tandon and accomplished music director duo Salim and Sulaiman Merchant, popularly known as Salim- Sulaiman.
