Bangalore, Sept 7 (UNI) Ace Cueist Geet Sethi, defending Champion Pankaj Advani, former world champion Peter Ghilrist of Singapore, were among the 16 cuests who entered the Pre-Quarter finals of the ONGC IBSF World Billiards Championship played at the KSBA Hall here today.
Geet Sethi maintained a clean slate in all the league encounters to make it to the last 16 stage.
Defending Champion Pankaj did not find any difficulty in his league matches and marched to the Pre-Quarter maintaining his winning spirit.
The Semi-finalists in the Points Format, Peter Ghilchrist also won all the three league matches to qualify for the last 16 stage.
