DMDK holds demo on power cut in TN
Coimbatore, Sep 7(UNI) Thousands of followers of Desiya Murpokku Dravidar Kazhagam (DMDK) volunteers led by its leader Vijayakanth today held a demonstration before the Red Cross Building here to condemn power cuts in Tamil Nadu.
They demonstrated for more than four hours leading to traffic diversion in the area.
Later, addressing the gathering, the DMDK leader came down heavily on the DMK Government and the previous AIADMK Government.
He said all the electricity produced by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) should be used by the State and the government should stop supplying the power to other States.
