Suicide car bomb kills 30 in Peshawar
Islamabad, Sep 7: At least 30 people, including five policemen, have been killed in a suicide car bomb attack in Pakistan. The attack took place at a paramilitary checkpoint 20km from Peshawar. About 70 people were also wounded by the blast, reports said. The powerful explosion destroyed part of the market, trapping many people under the debris. Witnesses said a pick-up truck was used to carry out the attack. No immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing has been made.
