'Raaz-The Mystery Continues' to hit theatres January 23 next year

New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) It will be a ''spine chilling'' winter for Bollywood with 'Raaz-The Mystery Continues', among the most anticipated films in the horror genre, set for release on January 23 next year.

After a near drought of horror movies this year, barring Ram Gopal Verma's 'Phoonk' and Vikram Bhatt's soon to be released '1920', films of the horror genre are all set to ''return with a bang'' next year with 'Raaz-The Mystery Continues', another blockbuster thriller from the house of Vishesh films after the 2003 superhit 'Raaz', set for release on January 23 next year.

Currently in an advanced stage of production, 'Raaz' The Mystery Continues', being directed by Mohit Suri and starring Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of 2009, coming as it does in wake of the stupendous success of Vishesh Films' last venture 'Jannat', which featured Emran Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan in the lead.

Announcing the release date of 'Raaz-The Mystery Continues', Mr Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh films, brother of renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, said,''It is definitely thrilling to be ready to present Vishesh Films' next movie to the world. They, however, dismiss the popular perception that 'Raaz' The Mystery Continues' is a sequel to the musical blockbuster Raaz 'one of the biggest musical blockbusters of all time and the only blockbuster musical thriller of this decade!! According to insiders, the entire shoot for 'Raaz' The Mystery Continues' is complete. Post-production, which involves exceptional special effects, is currently in the process.

Trade sources say that after Vishesh Films' last venture 'Jannat', 'Raaz-The Mystery continues' could be another musical blockbuster in the making. In fact, a select few who have heard the music simply vouch for the fact that Raju Singh and other composers have done a fantastic job.
