Obama vows to pressurise Pak to do more in war-on-terror
Washington, Sept 6 : Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has said that if he one this year's presidential poll, he would increase pressure on Pakistan in the hunt for Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.
He also said that he would ask Pakistan to "do more" in the US-led global war-on-terror.
"What we can do is stay focused on Afghanistan and put more pressure on the Pakistanis," the Daily Times quoted Obama as saying in a TV interview.
Obama also vowed to be tough on the nation's enemies, including Iran, added the paper.
The US was providing military aid to Pakistan without enough strings, he said and added that it had wasted 10 billion dollars on former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf without holding him accountable.
