Singur, Sep 06 (UNI) Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee today felt that good sense will prevail, leading to the return of the land from the Nano project acquired ''forcibly'' from the farmers by the West Bengal government.
'' I have told the inhabitants of Singur not to lose hope and be certain of victory. Discussions are going on. There is nothing to jubilate as the conclusion is yet to be reached, '' Ms Banerjee told newspersons, after having an hour-long discussion with the leaders of the party, following the talks at Raj Bhawan with state government mediated by state Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi.
Meanwhile, the people from whom land has been ''forcibly'' acquired by the government today gathered at the indefinite dharna here and observed ''Maa-Maati-Maanush Dibas(Mother-Land-People Day)''.
