India describes NSG waiver landmark development
New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) India today described as a ''landmark development'' the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) consensus decision on a waiver to it for global nuclear trade and said it was a recognition of India's''impeccable non-proliferation credentials'' which would end its decades-long nuclear isolation.

45-member
nuclear
cartel
gave
its
approval
to
India
that
the
NSG
decision
was
''forward
looking
and
momentous.''
The
Prime
Minister,
who
poke
with
US
President
George
Bush
on
phone
immediately
after
the
NSG
approval,
thanked
him
for
his
role
in
taking
forward
the
civil
nuclear
initiative
and
the
NSG
decision
to
adjust
its
guidelines
to
enable
full
civil
nuclear
cooperation
between
India
and
the
international
community
