Central team to visit Andhra to assess situation
Hyderabad, Sept 6 (UNI) An inter-ministerial central team for on the spot assessment of the damage caused by heavy rains and flash floods in Andhra Pradesh will tour Andhra Pradesh from September seven to 11.
Soon after their arrival here tomorrow, the Commssioner, Disaster Management and other departments would brief them.
One team would leave for West Godavari district on Monday and the other to Nalgonda district. Both the teams would return to Hyderabad on September 10, according to a release here today.
The team one headed by Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home affiars Dharmendra Sharma would also tour Krishna district and the team two headed by Assistant Director Finance Deparment, Nalini Pathak would tour Nalgonda, Warangal and Khammam districts.
