Apna Dal to join hands with small political outfits for next LS poll
Lucknow, Sep 6 (UNI) Apna Dal president Sonelal Patel announced to have an alliance with small political units for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Briefing meidapersons, Mr Patel said the party will contest the next poll in alliance with the small political units. However, doors will remain open for other like-mided parties, he added.
In the last LS polls, the Apna Dal had contested along with the BJP, however, faced utter defeat and did not even win a single seat.
Talking about the flood situation in the state, he said no stone would be left unturned while rendering help to the calamity victims.
District units of the party had been instructed to initiate an ''andolan'' regarding the same, he added.
Besides, party workers had been asked to collect money from public to help the flood-victims, he apprised.
Demanding the BSP government to dispatch relief fund immediatly to the disaster-hit districts, he said flood has impoverished many districts, thus the government should give every possible help to the victims.
