Jammu, Sep 5 (UNI) Blaming the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Chinore attack on August 27 in which at least a dozen people including three militants were killed, a social organisation today alleged that the recent militant attack is an outcome of seditious statements of PDP president Mehbooba Mufti.
''Ms Mehbooba in her statements warned the people of Jammu of dire consequences for being anti-secessionist and she is absolutely responsible for Chinore attack,'' Veer Saraf convenor of Roots in Kashmir (RIK), a Kashmiri youth organisation said at a press conference here.
Mr Saraf alleged that Chinore attack should be an eye opener for the Central Government while they should not give air to the words of fundamentalists in the Valley.
''If the Central government had firmly dealt with the separatist forces around two decades ago, there would have been no militancy in Kashmir while the Kashmiri Pandits and all those living there would have been happy and secure,'' the RIK convenor added.
Mr Saraf alleged that the Union Government is responsible for the rising militancy in Kashmir, which has become a gateway for terrorism in India due to the separatist and fundamentalist ideologies.
''Central government is fiddling with the Kashmir issue, which is no more a matter to be solved,'' he said adding that separatists like Geelani, Mehbooba Mufti, Yaseen Malik and others are being shielded by the Centre.
However, Mr Saraf further said September 14, which is being observed as "Martyrs Day", would now be observed as "Black Day" and appealed to the people of Jammu to wear black badges and head bands in protest of their grievances.
