Paswan announces special reward for Salem Steel Plant workers
Salem, Tamil Nadu, Sep 5 (UNI) Minister for steel Ram Vilas Paswan today announced a special reward of Rs 3000 each to the employees of Salem Steel Plant.
Speaking on the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony of the plant's expansion project here he said the reward was being given to the workers in recongnition of their efforts.
''Our employees working here are the real strength behind the success of Salem steel plant they are the most valuable resource for the company, he said.
Mr Paswan assured that SAIL will continue to play a key role in nation building as it had done in the past.
Thanking Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for all his support, he expressed the hope that the state government would allocate Kanjamalai iron ore mine to SAIL as mines were the core of the current expansion plant of Salem Steel Plant.
