Dhar, MP, Sep 5 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of misleading the country vis-a-vis the 123 Indo-US Nuclear Agreement.
''The civil nuclear deal is not in the country's interest and in such a situation Dr Singh has no moral right to continue in office.
I am writing to President Pratibha Patil in this regard,'' he told mediapersons here while on his Jan Ashirwad Yatra.
Mentioning that the draft of the Bharatiya Janata Party's assembly polls' manifesto was ready, Mr Chouhan added that it would be announced after deliberation at a September 15 meeting. To a query, the Chief Minister said that the BJP would contest all 230 seats.
''The BJP government fulfilled 90 per cent of election promises made to the public in 2003,'' he said.
Regarding the monsoon, Mr Chouhan admitted that only three divisions of the state received healthy rain. Lack of precipitation was also affecting power generation. Orders had been issued for preparing schemes for tackling a possible drought situation but the Chief Minister was hopeful of healthy showers.
