To be made available through over 600 of its channel partners, present in 350 cities across the country, the new series of machines have been tailor made for the segment taking into account the IT and business needs. Available from a base level price of Rs 40,000, the SL series would be available in three different sizes of 15 inch, 14 inch and 13 inch screens, Lenovo India Managing Director Amar Babu told newsmen at the launch here. He said besides the channel partners, the machines would also be available in its select retail outlets.

The feature rich new machines would fit into the budget of the SMB segment in India, which was predominantly price conscious while making IT decisions, he said, adding that the support service offered was taking into account the requirements of these segment companies, which could not afford CIOs.
