Haryana BSP to go it alone in LS polls
Hisar, Sep 5 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will contest the next Lok Sabha and assembly polls in Haryana on its own and will not enter into alliance with any other party.
Addressing a party rally, BSP national secretary in charge of Haryana Maan Singh Manhera said, ''The party will have no alliance with any other party in Haryana. It will contest all the Lok Sabha and assembly seats on its own.'' He said that there was not much difference between the Congress and the BJP and both belonged to the same category. ''To keep Mayawati away from the chair of Prime Minister, they took recourse to cross-voting. She is the only woman acceptable to asses for the post of Prime Minister.'' State BJP president Prakash Bharti presided over the rally and assailed the state government for ignoring the scheduled castes.
