Former minister's husband arrested
Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, Sep 5 (UNI) Chhattisgarh BJP Legislator and former minister Renuka Singh's husband has been arrested by Madhya Pradesh's Seoni police in connection with a matter related to financial bungling in a cooperative bank.
Narendra Singh was arrested from here by Seoni police yesterday on the basis of a warrant.
He worked in a cooperative bank in the state and was arrested for financial bungling about 10 years back. He was later released on bail. Meanwhile, he was suspended from the bank.
Narendra was deliberately avoiding court hearings. Three fraud cases had been registered against him by Seoni police in 2006.
His wife Renuka Singh represents Prem Nagar Assembly segment.
