Dubai, Sep 5 (UNI) India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni retained his place at the top of the batting charts while his team continued at the fifth spot in the ICC ODI Championship table released today.

India had started the recently concluded Sri Lankan series at fourth place on 112 ratings points and finished the tournament in fifth place at 113 points.

However, rain at Cardiff denied England to sweep the series and also the chance to move ahead of the second-placed Proteas in the rankings.

Australia is still the clear leader of the table with 130 points.

In the batting chart, Michael Hussey is up two places to second position ahead of the injured duo of Australian skipper Ricky Ponting and South African captain Graeme Smith.

Hussey now sits just a single place behind number-one ODI batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Meanwhile, it will come as a surprise to few people that England's resurgence as a formidable force in ODI cricket has coincided with the return to form of its inspirational all-rounder, Andrew Flintoff, who has rocketed back into the top 10 in the latest Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings for ODI bowlers.

After England-South Africa series, Kevin Pietersen's team moved ahead of New Zealand by a fraction of a ratings point to the third place.

In the ICC ODI rankings for bowlers, Zaheer Khan at the 14th spot is the only Indian in the top 20.

Australia's Mitchell Johnson has moved up two places to third following strong performances in the first two ODIs against Bangladesh in Darwin.

New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori is occupied the second position while Australia's Nathan Bracken is heading the bowlers list.

However, It's looking good for the state of Australian fast bowling as a third player, Stuart Clark, has also registered his best rating to date. With Brett Lee currently in 10th place, Australia now has four quicks in the top 20.
