Airtel announces collaboration with HP India
Bangalore, Sep 5: Bharti Airtel, One of the largest integrated telecom services provider on Friday, Sep 5 announced collaboration with Hewlett-Packard Development Company (HP), in a combined effort to promote Broadband and PC penetration in India. Under the partnership, Airtel would offer broadband connection at Discounted Entry Cost with every HP and Compaq notebook and desktop, according to the media release
Announcing the collaboration, Mr Deepak Srivastava, CEO, North, Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel said ''the synergies of the Airtel-HP alliance would leverage the symbiotic relationship between the PC and Broadband, spurring uptake of best-in-class content and an enhanced on boarding experience for both existing and first time users.'' Mr Rajiev Grover, Director, Consumer Products, HP PSG India, said '' with this unique partnership with Airtel broadband service, we have gone a step beyond adding value to the ultimate PC experience that HP has to offer.
