5.5 magnitude earthquake rock Srinagar, epicenter in Pak-Afghanistan
Srinagar, Sep 5 (UNI) A 5.5 magnitude earthquake rocked Srinagar and its adjoining areas today, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic.
The tremors, which were felt at 1032 hrs lasted for a few seconds.
There was however no report of any loss of life or damage to the property so far, police said.
A weather office spokesman said its epicenter was somewhere in the Afghan-Pakistan border.
