Punjab govt focus on development, Sukhbir
Ludhiana, Sep 3 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today stated that the Punjab government had chalked out a comprehensive infrastructure development and modernisation plan to ensure fast growth of industry in the state.
Addressing prominent industrialists of the state at a special conference organised by the party's Industrial Cell, Mr Badal claimed that within next three years, the state was going to witness a sea change in the field of development.
Unfolding the development agenda of SAD- BJP government, he said that the government had identified its priorities which include self sufficiency in power generation, excellent road connectivity, education and IT sector development.
On this occasion, Mr Badal honored 20 prominent industrialists including Mr S P Oswal, Mr Gursharan Singh GNA, Mr Onkar Singh Pahwa, Mr Deepak Dumra, Mr Kesho Ram Vij, Mr Neeraj Dhanda, Mr Jagdish Singal, Mr Inderjit Singh Pardhan and Mr A S Sachdeva for their contributions to the development of the industrial sector.
