Lahore, Sep 4 (UNI) Taking positives from all the criticism which has come upon his captaincy, Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik said he had become used to such comments and was now trying to improve his skills for future assignments.
Talking to mediapersons here yesterday, Malik said, ''Many critics had lashed out at my captaincy and mostly in a negative way. But I am not losing heart on all these criticisms. Rather, I am keen to learn from that and improve my captaincy skills in future assignments.'' Expressing his dejection over the state of cricket in the country, Malik said the lack of cricket for the national team was greatly disappointing for the players as well as the spectators.
Pakistan has not been able to play a Test series in the current year and the postponement of the high-profile Champions Trophy untill next year has further spoiled matters for the team.
However, Malik hoped that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would succeed in arranging an alternate series in place of the eight-nation tournament for his team very soon.
