IMPPA appeals for help to Bihar flood victims
Mumbai, Sep 4 (UNI) Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) today appealed to the film fraternity to extend a helping hand to those affected by floods in north Bihar.
In a statement here, IMPPA president T P Aggarwal said IMPPA has decided to request all film producers who have large quantities of dresses in their godown after the release of their film, to donate them for the flood victims and they are welcome to forward such clothes to IMPPA for dispatching the same to Bihar.
IMPPA has also decided to request all producers, artists, technicians and other people associated with the film industry, including service providers and financiers to contribute substantial amount for the help and welfare of the flood victims and IMPPA has requested such persons to send their donations in the form of a Demand Draft payable at Patna to the Chief Minster of Bihar Relief Fund, which will be forwarded by IMPPA.
